Happy Sunday!
This weekend was low-key for us, as I'm definitely slowing down. 36 weeks and counting! It's funny--Nathan must know something's up, because he loves to pat my belly and say "tummy." Nobody else's that I know of. Maybe it's just the overstated size of mine that he is intrigued by.
On Friday Nathan's class had a special event at the Child Development Center (aka, "school"). All the parents were invited to the center for a special afternoon snack of English muffin pizzas and pumpkin smoothies (mm-mm--good!), followed by a trip to the pumpkin patch. Turns out the pumpkin patch was the front yard of the center where a bunch of tot-sized pumpkins were strategically placed beneath trees and by the fence. It looked like the Easter Bunny had gotten bored and taken up a new holiday :-). Nathan had a ball, running around throwing the pum-pums down the hill. We didn't lose any, but seeing Nathan's energy level compared to the other kids' was amusing. We've got ourselves a live one! And just think...another one a breath away. When do we call in the Reserves? Love to all.
