Sunday 29 Oct

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Our weekend got off to a somewhat early start, as Colorado Springs received its first blast of winter during the wee hours on Thursday. We woke up to 50 mph winds and blowing snow. By the time evening came we had a good 18 inches all around, with piles of up to four feet. Rediculous! It's not even Halloween yet! But it made for some wonderful pictures of Nathan in his snow suit, and Brian was able to build a fort in our front yard. Unfortunately by the time he got the driveway cleared, there was just a little daylight left to enjoy his handywork. Then in typical CO style, it was a beautiful weekend with sunny 70-degree weather.
We're beginning to get ready for baby 2's arrival, whenever he decides he's had enough cooking. We unburied the baby car seat, put the swing together, and washed a bunch of clothes too small for any real person to fit into. It'll be amazing to have another itsy bitsy person around!
