Chocks
For the Fourth of July, we celebrated in grand style in Boise, Idaho. The occasion was the wedding of fellow USAFA classmate Kay Chock and his beautiful bride Colleen Colby. Like many weddings of classmates, this week of celebration was a mini-reunion of "01 (Fired Up!). We went white water rafting, had a great Luau, explored metro Boise (not much bigger than Kalamazoo!) and all its hot spots, and of course the beautiful ceremony at a fabulous Cathedral right in the middle of the city. The reception was great fun, too. I am so thankful that we got the opportunity to get away for just a few days and reconnect with so many friends, many of whom we haven't seen since the hats went a' flyin'. Congratulations, Kay and Colleen! Thanks for letting us share in the party. PS. There is talk of a getaway in the mid-future, so start planning!
PPS. The bad news was that when I got to the hotel on the first day, I busted out the camera to document the reunion, and the batteries were dead... After much debate, we decided to leave the photography to someone else. I'll certainly post a few gems when they are distributed!
