Up North

We had a great weekend at the Mills Cottage on Long Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. It is the thing to do here, trek a few hours north on Friday afternoons, spend the weekend waterlogged and sunburned, and then slug your way home Sunday afternoon. It's great! Nathan and Kyle loved swimming and boating, though I'm not sure they loved it as much as Penny did. Stormy would have preferred a cushy dog bed in an air conditioned living room... We got Nathan a Batman fishing pole, and he thinks he's a true angler, though didn't get so much as a bite on his Meijer rubber lures. Brian would have had a fit if they actually caught something anyway! Ha! There will no doubt be more of these pics in weekends to come.
