Sweet Summer!

Hi All!
As I'm sure all of yours have been, our summer has been non-stop. So far we've spent two weekends Up North at the lake, and really love it up there. It's away from "Real Life" and so relaxed.





We also took a trip to Florida to see my family. What a great week! It went so fast. We swam in Mimi and Grampa's pool every day and went to the beach twice. The boys went from tentative in the water to swimming little guppies. Even Kyle was kawabunga-ing off the side into the water with only swimmies by the middle of the week. Waterbabies at heart. Mom and Ryan also loved having the boys around and showed them how to ride a few waves at Cocoa Beach. I was busy having a heart attack on the beach (extreme shark phobia).






Following Florida, I was lucky enough to visit my friend Danielle in Houston. We had a great time together, and it was a welcomed reminder of who I am without association, etc, etc. Not that I don't love my family, but sometimes "me" time is nice, too. Thanks, Danielle and Chris for having me. You guys are great friends.

Upon return to real life, we continued the summer fun. Check out Brian and the boys slip n' sliding!
